Creating a Glossy Button in few steps – Photoshop tutorial
Create a document of width and height 400px X 179px, background – white.
Create a rounded rectangle shape with the radius of 8px.
Rasterize the shape layer and apply the blending options as given below
1. Drop shadow
Angle = 120; Distance = 3px; Spread = 0%; Size = 5px.
2. Gradient overlay
Blend mode = Normal; Opacity = 100%; Gradient =#96b822 - #cee76b; Angle = 90
3. Stroke
Size = 2px; Position = outside; color = #50ba48.
4. Glossy Shade
Create a shape - assuming the highlighted glossy area and apply gradient as given below
Glossy highlight area - Shape selection
Apply gradient to the selected highlight area
Once you have performed all of the above steps your button should look like this
